The 438GT Ceramic Fuse series is a 100% Lead Free, RoHS compliant and Halogen free series designed specifically to provide over-current protection to circuits that see high working ambient temperatures (up to 150°C) and high inrush currents.
The General design ensures excellent temperature stability and performance reliability.
This higher I2t values which is typical in the Littelfuse Ceramic Fuse Family ensures high inrush current withstand capability.

The product series impacted are the following. Thin Film Fuse Series - 0430, 0433, 0434 and the 0429xxx.WRM series. The final date for which orders will be taken is September 30, 2008. In all cases Littelfuse has RoHS and Lead-Free alternative series now available . The most up to date information on these series can be found on the Littelfuse website, http://www.littelfuse.com/. Littelfuse Inc is implementing this change so that it can continue to pursue a policy of manufacturing and selling "Green" products.
